Renato Miracco speaks about events planned for 2009

When asked what will happen in New York for the centenary of Marinetti, Renato Miracco, director of the Italian Cultural Institute in New York says that the Institute will publish the archive at Yale in the coming year. Also, along with Princeton, a show of Futurist books will be organized, as well as publishing 15 manifestos unknown to Americans, which will be translated into English and distributed along the streets, like a real Futurist happening.

«Il prossimo anno pubblicheremo l’archivio che sta a Yale. Faremo con l’università di Princeton una mostra di libri futuristi, pubblichiamo 15 manifesti sconosciuti agli americani che distribuiremo per strada tradotti in inglese come se fosse un vero evento futurista».
