The February issue of Modern Painters will be online next week and should be on newsstands soon! This issue includes a discussion of the centenary of Futurism by Ara H. Merjian, a conversation between Christine Poggi and Luca Buvoli, and Maurizio Cattelan’s imagined interview with F.T. Marinetti, as well as Jennifer Bethke’s survey of recent and forthcoming releases in Futurist-related books. A special portfolio titled “Artists on Speed” includes Futurist-inflected artworks by Jonah Freeman and Kristin Baker, among others.
