Christie’s Modern and Contemporary Art Sale (Milan) (November 24 – 25 2008) includes a lot of two works on paper by Umberto Boccioni both titled Cavallo bardato. These works come from the collection of Lydia Winston-Malbin (NY Times obit).
Meanwhile, the Sotheby’s Modern and Contemporary Art Sale in Milan (November 25-26, 2008) includes several more works by Futurist artists including Fillia’s Spiritualita aerea, Carlo Carra’s Marina con pagliaio (1928), Giacomo Balla’s Balfiore: Rose (c. 1927) and Motivo prismatico (1917), a drawing by Virgilio Marchi (c. 1916) and Gerardo Dottori’s Incendio citta (c. 1925).
